Does this just pertain to sexual assault against a minor? I know someone that was convicted of possession of child pornography and hopes to get a pardon soon. We have reviewed the exception form and it pertains to the offender actually touching or being near the victim. As this was a computer crime and this person was not in direct contact with a minor would he be able to get a pardon? I blew over and my car was impounded and my license revoked for 3 months. I don’t remember the cost of the fines but overall with the classes I had to take it was around $3000 in total. I was convicted of a DUI in 2017 in Toronto Ontario.OpenPardons Staff asked 1 year ago • DUI, Pardons, Traveling to the US, US Border, US Waiver121 views1 answers0 votesDoes US customs have access to absolute or conditional discharges that happened more than 3 years ago? I was charged with assault but got a conditional discharge so it should no longer be on my provincial record but it shows on my federal. Will this affect me if I try to enter the US?OpenPardons Staff asked 1 year ago • Pardons, Traveling to the US, US Border, US Waiver91 views1 answers0 votesI was charged with a DUI 12 years ago and had another DUI about 22 years ago and apparently I found out I had an assault charge roughly 1988. As far as I know I have been finger printed in Hamilton ON. The assault I think it was probation, as for the oldest DUI I don’t remember and the most recent DUI was a 2000 dollar fine. I was told by the Miami customs office as I was leaving my cruise that I needed some kind of paperwork. The US border guard said I would be turned away if I try to cross into America. I was also held in the Toronto secondary for 3 hours before they let me go to my plane for Miami. As I have no idea what I need to be able to go on my next cruise. As my wife and I cruise at least 2 times a year. I have never had any jail time. Please advise.OpenPardons Staff asked 1 year ago • Pardons, Traveling to the US, US Border, US Waiver102 views1 answers0 votes
