Jerry, if you got a pardon then they can’t really see what you offence was so I presume you must have inadvertently told them that you had a criminal record that was pardoned. The Americans don’t like the fact that you have been pardoned and that they can’t see what the criminal offence was. Now they have flagged you in their system and you may get denied entry if you show them the offence that you were pardoned for, especially because it was a drug charge. If you do get denied entry to the US then you will need a US Entry Waiver to return which is a complex application.
